Veritas Academy (Sunday morning classes @ 9:30 a.m.)

Biblical and faith studies are a critical part of our mission in begin equipped to follow Jesus.  We grow in part by simply learning about and imitating our Lord.  Hebrews 4 teaches us that "the Word of God is living and active".  Our classes at Tri-Valley are designed to help students dig deeper in the living Word and to help it come alive in our daily walk with God.

Veritas (the Latin word for "truth") is an attempt to shape our times of study closer to a university model.  A course catalog is offered each fall to help students design a balanced learning plan based on four major disciplines: 

• Introduction to the Bible / Old Testament
• The Life of Jesus / Gospels
• Church History / New Testament Epistles
• Christian Living

In addition, our Veritas faculty is made up of thoughtful, experienced, and well-prepared teachers whose material is designed to engage students in practical application.  Whether you're new to studying the Bible or a veteran, take advantage of this great program.

This New Testament study looks at the early Christian Church; from the Apostle Paul's letters to John's writings in Revelation. The people, places and practices of the first century church.  The challenges to their faith and the lessons we can learn from them.
