“Are We Still Learning?” – Mark 12:18-27
Theme: Resurrection, Humility to keep learning, Hope
Overview: The Sadducees tried to trap Jesus with a question about the resurrection. They thought it was clever because they did not believe in the resurrection to begin with. However, Jesus not only corrected them with true teaching, but offered them an amazing glimpse of a Living God. As we consider this text, I wonder if we bring questions before Jesus that are covered in our false assumptions. If we do, then how willing are we to really learn when Jesus teaches us something other than what we already believed?
